Training calendar
In 2009, the University established the Division of Engineering and Technical Staff to centralize the training of technical staff, and in 2014, implemented a job group system for specialized technologies, thereby enhancing the sophistication of each technical staff member's technology and organizational management capabilities. These are innovative efforts not seen at any other university.
The Center was established to accelerate these efforts and to train advanced technical experts who will partner with researchers using the latest and most advanced technologies. In parallel, we are promoting the multifaceted career paths of technical staff by training managers who are responsible for planning and management related to technology and equipment, and who take part in the design of research and management strategies.
Specific activities include the development and implementation of effective training programs that incorporate corporate training, and the establishment of specific expectation markers for technical staff, thereby promoting the development of a system involving personnel evaluation and strategic and systematic assignment of technical staff.
